I appreciate craft, comfort, simplicity and seamless functionality in all things. With experience in furniture, lighting and product design, I am excited by the challenge of bringing objects together in cohesive and thoughtful spaces. A result of my industrial design training, my process revolves around an analysis of function, often leading to simple solutions based on the inherent strengths of a material or composition. My interest in interior design comes from a desire to enhance the places that bring people together.
I was born and raised in San Francisco and spent four years studying Industrial Design at Rhode Island School of Design. I have served as graphic intern to Kit Hinrichs in San Francisco and developed the package and identity for a start-up in Boston. I spent a design-intensive summer studying furniture in Copenhagen and worked closely with Windsor furniture studio O&G in Warren, RI preparing for the International Contemporary Furniture Fair 2015. I now find myself back in the Bay Area working with Geremia Design on residential and commercial interior spaces. In my spare time, I am busy selecting finishes and fixtures for my family home, which is under renovation, and furnishing a friend's classic San Francisco Victorian.
This site includes work from my Foundations Studies and Industrial Design courses at RISD as well as some pieces I created at Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco.
